Gearing Up For NaNoWriteMo

National Novel Writing Month (NaNoWriteMo) is a fun, seat-of-your-pants approach to novel writing, a one-month write till you drop. On November 1st participants start writing like mad. The goal is to write a 50,000word) novel by midnight, November 30.

I’ve got most of my characters descriptions done, at least beginning ones. But I haven’t got much of a plot. So, who’s worried. The official NaNoWriteMo site says I don’t have to have a plot. Yikes!

So, here I go, off to have a great writing November. Pray for me, please.

  1. I'm doing NaNo too, Nike!! Add me to your buddy list and I'll add you to mine. I'm actually doing a rebel NaNo – trying to finish up the book I started last year.No matter what happens, I hope to gain at least some extra word count on my ms. Raising a cup of tea to toast the beginning tomorrow.
